We are excited to announce a Slow Food farm field trip on June 6 to Raccoon Bend Farms in Bossier City! We love getting to know our local slow food-minded farms and farmers better and giving you the chance to learn with us.

In addition to fresh produce and eggs, they sell healthy prepared foods at their farm stand, which will be open for the tour.

There is no charge for the tour, but we certainly encourage you to purchase whatever strikes your fancy from the farm stand. We want to keep our local farms healthy too!

Dress for the weather and for a working farm tour. Flat shoes, hats, sunscreen and bug spray are recommended. We will have cold water available.
